摘要
We investigated the relationships among social capital, innovation, and business performance and collected data from several relatively small size entrepreneurial firms in India. The analysis ended up using a sample of 41. The relationship between firm's social capital and performance is positive, that is as social capital increases, the performance increases. However this relationship was not significant; and the hypothesis is not supported. The relationship between firm's innovation and performance is positive; that is, as innovation increases, the performance increases. The hypothesis was supported. The relationship between the firm's social capital and innovation is curvilinear; that is, the relationship has an inverted 'boolean AND' shape.
