Power systems simulator with schemes of generators excitation control recommended by the IEEE

摘要
This paper summarizes the development of a computer program realized in Matlab 7.0 programming language of a simulator of dynamics power systems by including models of generators excitation control recommended from the IEEE. In the development of the simulator Runke Kutta 4 algorithm was used, which integration interval can be affect by the user, so it may change the accuracy and thus the execution speed of simulations. The simulator performs power flow calculations, three-phase faults simulation with or without generators excitation schemes, among other computing tasks. The simulator does not have restrictions on the number of bar or nodes that can simulate a power system.
