摘要
Eight amino acids were tested for the secretion of pectolytic and cellulolytic enzymes. Complete inhibition of PG synthesis was found with leucine and phenylalanine in both the species of Fusarium. However, in addition to these amino acids, cystine and tryptophan could also check the PG secretion in F. oxysporum and F. moniliforme respectively. Regarding PMG production, sodium nitrate was the best nitrogen source for both the pathogens. Leucine showed complete inhibition of PMG synthesis in F. oxysporum. In F. moniliforme, cystine and phenylalanine also found to check the PMG synthesis. Total inhibition of cellulase production was found in F. moniliforme by leucine, phenylalanine and tryptophan, whereas none could control the total cellulase synthetis in F. oxysporum. A correlation between biomass and enzyme production can be drawn when sodium nitrate and leucine were added in medium separately.
