摘要
This paper examines the anomalies observed by Palit on the electrolysis of water at low current density. It says that on the basis of Palit's results it is impossible to come to the conclusion of the invalidity of the Faraday's law. The anomalies may be caused by the contaminations of the solution. They can partially take part in the electrode processes, and partially inhibit the part processes of electrolysis. © 1979, The Electrochemical Society, Inc. All rights reserved.
