摘要
Presents the results of the descriptive research longitudinal panel "Development of mathematical logical thinking based on problem solving in children aged 4 to 5" of a public educational institution in Osorno Chile, which was carried out through a program of educational intervention based on problems during 2013-2014, using teaching strategy of life skills through the game, with the purpose of analyzing the development of logical thinking processes. This article presents the results of care items understanding and motivation. The instrument used was the "scale to observe strategies of problem solving"; Saiz & Roman (2011), a record of field notes was made. It was found that some children are ingenious when looking for resources to salve of problems, others imitate, ask for help and solve them with the repetition of instructions; some need concrete support with suggestions and very few neither strive nor attempt to do so. It was concluded that the development of thought takes place in a social environment where the educator plays an important role contributing to the interaction of children making use of effective communication and mutual support.
