摘要
The magnetic properties of a large number of 1:2:2 ternary rare-earth or actinide intermetallics are presented. These compounds have the chemical formula RT2X2, where R is a rare earth or an actinide, T is an nd transition metal and X is Si, Ge, Sn, P, As or Sb. They crystallize with a tetragonal crystal structure. Different magnetic structures observed in the rare-earth and actinide sublattices are discussed in terms of two factors: exchange interactions and a crystal electric field.
