摘要：
The studies carried out during 1986-87 and 1987-88 at Navsari (Gujarat) revealed that weed control treatments of two hand weeding and premergence application of pendimethalin at 1.0 kg/ha were most effective in reducing the weed dry weight and removal of nutrients (N, P2O5 and K2O) through weeds. Increased application of nitrogen from 60 to 150 kg/ha linearly increased the total weed biomass and consequently removal of nutrients by weeds.
