摘要
The design of a new type of dynamometer is presented. The instrument strain rings and an arrangement of 12 resistance strain gauges and is capable of directly resolving the applied force into three mutually perpendicular components. The strain gauges are located in such a manner that, in theory, no cross-sensitivity or dependence upon the point of application of the load is possible. A method is given to compensate for small errors resulting from inaccurate gauge location. © 1969.
