摘要：

The dynamics of social movements, both recent and past, are characterized by different ways to make their ideals, proposals and motivation visible. This is where the mass media, which are only part of the communicative structure, create a tension between two powers: that of the social movements, which is understood as a condition existing and surviving in time, and the one that the mass media has and which allows news coverage to lead to invisibilities and opacities of facts. This is the axis of this analysis which has been made in the context of the Colombian public university conflict waged throughout 2007.
