摘要
The photo-isomerization and photo-degradation of 2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzophenone (E)-oxime in ethanol, octane, toluene and a mixture of octane and toluene under exposure to daylight and UV light is studied. 2-Hydroxy-5-methylbenzophenone (Z)-oxime, 2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzophenone, 2-phenyl-5-methylbenzoxazole, 3-phenyl-5-methylbenzisoxazole, N-(2-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)benzamide and N-phenyl-2-hydroxy-5-methyl-benzamide were detected as products of the photo-isomerization/photo-degradation. These products can affect the extraction results of equilibrium and kinetic studies.
