摘要
Patients with neurological or psychiatric disorders often require for their treatment expertise from both disciplines. Numerous examples are known in which it was necessary to initiate multidisciplinary therapy facilitating further treatment. These include, for example, neurodegenerative diseases, CNS disorder with comorbid psychiatric symptoms (e.g., stroke, disseminated encephalitis, M. Parkinson), just to name a few. A close link between the two disciplines involved will improve diagnostic and therapeutic decisions. In this paper we present the interdisciplinary approach implemented by University Medical Center Gottingen.
