摘要
This article contextualizes the recent story of brazilian Early Childhood Education, highlighting the significance of Social Movements towards its consolidation and emphasizing these movements' struggles for the teacher training process that contemplates early childhood specificities. Highlighting women's struggle for day-care before and after Brazil's political re-opening, with an emphasis on the fights for the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988. Discussing the "Interforuns" movement of Brazil (MIEIB) trajectory and its political struggles over the last 15 years towards the qualification of the first stage of basic education. Outlining considerations regarding the re-signification of social movement's agenda and organicity, which it's directly involved with the right to education for babies and small children.
