摘要
In this paper, four environmentally friendly lubricants (rapeseed oil, palm oil, boric acid and palm stearin) were evaluated under different workpiece surface roughness. The ring compression test was used to perform the study. The calibration curves, obtained by Finite Element simulation of ring compression test, were used to estimate the friction factor for each lubricant. The results showed that the palm stearin has the best lubrication properties followed by the boric acid, palm oil and rapeseed oil.
