摘要
Energy, employment, and environmental protection are the three major issues in the developing country like India. Biomass is an environmentally acceptable resource and could solve all these three problems. Mulberry (Morus alba) is a multipurpose plant and can play a major role in the economic development of rural as well as semi-urban areas. With this in view, the different biological aspects and the potential of mulberry for different purposes have been reviewed here. An integrated approach for its total utilization has also been discussed.
