摘要
Enzymatic oxidative polymerization of phenol and its derivatives was carried out in a mixture of 1,4-dioxane and buffer using peroxidase as catalyst to produce a new family of polyphenols. The monomers used in this study were phenol and p-n-alkylphenols. The polymer obtained from phenol by the use of horseradish peroxidase as catalyst was partly soluble in DMF and DMSO, and the molecular weight of the soluble part was determined by GPC as around 3x10(4). The polymer was found to possess highly thermal stability from TG analysis.
