HYDROCARBON ASSOCIATIONS IN THE BLACK-SEA ECOSYSTEM

Data on concentration and molecular structure of paraffinic abd polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in the surface micro-layer (dissolved and particulate forms) and in the sediments of near shore and deep regions of the Black Sea are discussed. It is shown that the formation of hydrocarbons structure in these objects is determined in general by independent geochemical background. The influence of technogenic pollution has been found in the North-Western and South-Eastern parts of the basin. It is manifested in the increasing of alcanes and PAH concentrations especially in particulate forms and partly in technogenic and biogenic PAH.
