OF ACADEMIC RESEARCH ON THE FAIRY TALES UNIVERSE POLITICAL AND LITERARY BROTHERS GRIMM

The tales, as a literary work, transcend space and time of its production and read today, mobilize images and raise debates. This study brings academic research on the tales in the years 2003-2013 in order to demonstrate the use (or not) of the Grimm tales in studies. It presents the political and literary world of the Brothers Grimm from bibliographical research, semi-structured interview conducted in Grimm Brothers archive in Kassel, Germany. The primary sources used were the prologues, prefaces and translations of biographies of Grimm's tales and secondary sources: brochures, newsletters, newspapers, pictures and interview with Dr. Lauer in Kassel, Germany. The article presents the challenge to raise other research on the tales and in particular, the tales of the Brothers Grimm.
