摘要
Selective dissolution of polycrystalline alpha-brass Cu30Zn in chloride solution is limited by diffusion of zinc in the alloy proceeding predominantly along grain boundaries, and it is accompanied by the formation of a transversely were inhomogeneous diffusion zone dissected by so-called diffusion wedges. The diffusion coefficient of zinc, chronoamperometrically determined, is an efficient parameter characterizing the atmoic mass transfer through different defects of the structure of the surface layer mechanically dispersed during dressing.
