摘要：
From the temperature dependence of the damping of the fundamental lattice resonance of alkali halides it has generally been assumed that the contribution from quartic anharmonicity to the damping is considerable. It is shown that if thermal expansion is taken into account the contribution from quartic anharmonicity can only be very small. © 1969.
