摘要
In the growing population of Spanish and Mexican route runners we analyze their commitment to running and its main socio-demographic characteristics. It also analyzes the influence on the score of these variables their commitment to running in both Spanish sample route runners, as in Mexico. This gives valuable descriptive data, and concludes that in the Mexican route runners sample were obtained significantly higher scores than in the Spanish in their commitment to running. Furthermore, in the influence of socio-demographic variables in scores of commitment running analyzed, there were some significant differences, so that in the Mexican sample, very high values were obtained in all the response options of the variables analyzed with no differences significant, except in men who have 3 or more children or family dependents, for whom this commitment was significantly higher than in those men who have less. In the Spanish sample the values were medium-high, but with significant differences in three of the seven variables, so that the commitment to run increased in male runners who had no children and women who had a lower level of education and normal weight.
