Shared leadership for health education

Health education may be considered as an academic discipline or as a transversal field; still, the topics are of current interest : resistance to health education, violence in first romantic relationships among youth in secondary schools, youths' attitudes towards sexual health, teaching practices of teachers and sports educators and parents' views. At the outset, the results of the seven highly relevant papers in this issue from Quebec and France, confirm that much must be done in the health education field in order to understand and integrate all its meaning, and to better target interventions so as to ensure the development of healthy lifestyles among the youth.
