LUMINESCENCE OF PRODUCTS OF A SINGLET OXYGEN CHEMICAL GENERATOR IN VISIBLE AND NEAR-IR SPECTRAL REGIONS

摘要
It is shown experimentally that an intensive glow arises under the interaction between a flow of singlet oxygen (SO) which contains a slight chlorine admixture and a heated metal surface. The glow spectrum incorporates two regions located in the ranges of 650-920 and 1020-1305 nm. A line structure with a characteristic interval of about 360 cm-1 is observed in each region. Dependences are presented of the glow intensity on chlorine and SO pressures.
