Women in the Spanish 20th Century radio (1924-1989)

This paper presents a tour through the different ways in which women and radio related to each other from the 1920s, when the first regular radiocasts appeared in Spain, to the late 1980s, key years in the development of the free radio movement. It explains how radio stations interpellated Spanish women during those years ( feminine programmes, well-known female radio speakers, etc.) and how this process influenced the construction of gender identities, so the readers can value the evolution of this relationship during these seven decades.
