Enterprising development within the process of economic transition is at present orientated especially to reaching the needed economic prosperity of enterpreneurial agents. The present approaches express the basic knowledge on enterprising evaluation in the market economies and possibilities of its application in new conditions of the Slovak economy. Emphasis is given to a necessity of creating the prerequisities for obtaining the information basis as well as the methodical approaches in expressing the set of evaluating indicators. As an example are used factographical data of a chosen Slovak industrial enterprise. There are evaluated reached results of enterprising and financial conditions in the last year with special attention to the level of liquidity and a whole solvency of the enterprise. On the basis of that information there are formulated general conclusions concerning the present financial situation and the level of payments ability in the Slovak economy, including proposals to solving the existing problems. Knowledge obtained from evaluation of the economic prosperity expresses the reached bonity level of enterprises. In author's opinion there arc possibilities of applying the presented results of evaluation in business management and, in connection with credit lending in banking as well.
