摘要
Central city auto congestion has been modelled by urban economists as flow congestion and by traffic engineers as signalized intersection congestion. This note demonstrates that both classes of models have similar economic properties, and argues that neither provides a satisfactory treatment of downtown auto congestion. © 1990.
