摘要：
The key elements for understanding Helicobacter pylori. Helicobacter pylori infection, widespread in the world, especially in regions with poor hygiene, affects 20 to 30% of adults in France. Causing chronic gastritis, it constitutes the main cause for the occurrence of gastroduodenal ulcers and can evolve into gastric cancer. The eradication of Helicobacter pylori prevents this evolution in patients who do not present a preneoplastic condition. It is diagnosed using gastroscopy or non- invasive diagnostic tests.
