摘要：

Despite its younger population, coronary artery disease (CAD) is the leading cause of death in Turkey, as it is in Europe and the United States. The prevalence of CAD in our country increases steadily. So, the healthcare system must take care of the economic consequences of the disease as much as its clinical results. This overview was written to enable such an evaluation. For this reason, the prognostic outcomes and cost-effectiveness of the initial diagnostic strategies in stable CAD were assessed together with new insights in treatment strategies
