摘要
The present short essay review not only questions the current literature on Dracula and vampires, which defines the understanding of Dracula by his personal assets as non-live, authoritarian or even his thirst for human blood, but paves the ways to form a philosophical explanation that situates him in the impossibility to offer genuine hospitality. Dracula, who is as one of the most famous villains of West, seduces his potential victims under the right of hospitality, later they are attacked while sleeping. Evilness is conducive to the reminder that our sense of perfection, our rationality are not enough to explain the principle of contingency, this means that the worse may happen anytime, and anywhere.
