摘要
Introduction: The subject Development of Thinking I, in graduate family medicine aims to achieve meaningful and productive learning, to optimize the skills acquired by the posgradista of Family and Community Medicine in their daily and professional life, turning general mental processes and to develop specific academic skills through the use of learning strategies and techniques that meet expectations posgradista. Objective: To develop a critical review of the current syllabus of the subject in relation to the expectations of posgradistas, allowing us to make their transformations. Method: A qualitative study was conducted descriptive, theoretical methods such as analysis and synthesis of the syllabus of the subject and empirical were used: survey and nominal group approach of specialists made up of four professors in the graduate group Family Practice Community, at the Catholic University of Guayaquil in Ecuador, during the period June to August 2015, the study variables to assess the quality of the program were: relevance of the objectives, structure of the summary, matching assessments and update literature, the results were analyzed by descriptive techniques frequencies and percents. Results: On the program was obtained, 4 and 4 inadequacies sufficiency: excess evaluations insufficient transdisciplinarity and bibliography is outdated. Conclusions: The syllabus should be restructured, updated bibliography and developing a teaching material for bibliographic guidance of students is recommended.
