摘要
This article considers the personal initiatives, motivation and actions of corporate managers, which drive the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in Bangladesh significantly. It is generally believed that CSR is planned and implemented based on the needs and demands of the society by the businesses. This article explores how the thoughts, ideas, views, initiatives and actions of business managers reflect the practices of CSR activities in Bangladesh. It identifies the impacts of the personal motivations of corporate managers on the CSR performance of Bangladesh banking sector.
